Sr. Consultant, Business Enablement and Governance (Risk Management)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week on-site and other days remote

What you will do

• Lead the management of material, systemic, and emerging operational risks across PBB channels.
• Develop and implement integrated control improvement solutions across products and distribution channels.
• Identify risk exposures and control gaps, investigate incidents, assess root causes, and recommend remediation.
• Execute Control Framework requirements, including RCSAs, scenario assessments, deficiency management, incident reporting, regulatory compliance incidents, and key risk indicators.
• Lead internal audits, compliance examinations, control testing programs, and complex governance or regulatory projects.
• Manage relationships with business partners, project managers, and second- and third-line risk functions while providing mentoring and indirect leadership.

Requirements

• Experience working with PBB channels and a deep understanding of relevant businesses and processes.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management principles, practices, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate Control Framework requirements and accountabilities to lines of business.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, relationship-management, influencing, coaching, and negotiation skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
