What you will do

• Load and unload products and maintain terminal equipment, buildings, grounds, records, and supplies.
• Monitor refrigeration systems, test samples, record gauge readings, and follow operating procedures.
• Comply with environmental, health, safety, and training programs, and assist with operator development.
• Respond to hazardous-material incidents involving anhydrous ammonia, including technician and incident-command duties.
• Support maintenance and capital projects, emergency situations, and operations at other company facilities when required.
• Work rotating swing shifts, including overnights, in a continuous 24/7 operating environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of college, military or technical training, or related work experience.
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures, with refrigeration knowledge appropriate to the position.
• Basic computer skills, data-entry and information-retrieval ability, and strong communication skills.
• English reading, writing, communication, and comprehension required.
• HAZMAT certification is required after employment.
• Ability to work at heights, handle emergency equipment, wear Level A protective suits and SCBA, and operate in extreme environmental conditions.
