What you will do
- Monitor and operate pumps, compressors, valves, tanks, vessels, pipelines, and other facility or field equipment.
- Complete equipment readings, inspections, maintenance, product sampling, and detailed facility logbook records.
- Evaluate equipment performance, identify leaks or malfunctions, and recommend corrective improvements.
- Monitor alarms and respond to operational issues, emergencies, and shutdown instructions.
- Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas and implement spill prevention and control procedures as needed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues, direct or train less-experienced employees, and participate on the local emergency response team.
Requirements
- At least two years of oilfield experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Deadhorse, Alaska, including remote field locations and Arctic conditions.
- Ability to work a 14-days-on/14-days-off, 12-hour shift schedule and remain available for alarms, questions, and emergencies 24 hours per day.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic mathematics, mechanical, and computer skills, with the ability to operate facilities independently and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to travel by large or small aircraft, helicopter, or boat and to put on and remove an immersion suit.

- Experience on the North Slope of Alaska.
