Generated Gas Supervisor (Industrial Gases)

Location: Petersburg, Virginia, United States; onsite at a 250 TPD air separation unit

What you will do

• Support daily operations of a plant producing gaseous oxygen, liquid oxygen, and crude argon.
• Manage Basic Safety Process and Process Safety Management programs.
• Ensure environmental compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Troubleshoot process issues, supervise plant activities, and support site projects.
• Identify maintenance concerns, coordinate corrective actions, and oversee preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and implement preventive actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years of operations or maintenance experience in an industrial plant environment preferred.
• Engineering or another technical degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a formal degree.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Proven leadership, employee development, communication, administrative, and computer skills.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
