Agile Leader

Location: East Syracuse, NY, USA; primarily on-site

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year, plus a target 10% profit-sharing bonus

What you will do

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies for 5+ new product development projects.
• Manage project schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, blockers, and resource conflicts across concurrent engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate engineering, product management, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders as the primary project contact.
• Maintain accurate project status, documentation, and metrics in Jira and Confluence.
• Coach engineering teams on agile principles and partner with the Agile Manager to standardize and improve department practices.
• Report project status and key metrics to engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager in an engineering or product development environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technical or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project and agile tracking tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organization, and ambiguity-management skills.
• Willingness and ability to work primarily on-site in East Syracuse, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware, instrumentation, industrial equipment, or physical product development.
• CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum Master certification.
• Experience introducing or scaling agile practices in organizations transitioning from traditional project management.
