Scrum Master III (AI)

Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog-refinement activities.
• Help Product Owners maintain aligned and prioritized backlogs.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments to keep delivery on schedule.
• Provide foundational Agile coaching and servant leadership.
• Track velocity, burn-down charts, sprint health, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Coordinate collaboration across technical and mission teams using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field; equivalent education, military experience, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting Agile teams or working in an Agile development environment.
• Certified Scrum Master certification or a comparable industry certification is required.
• Experience with Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, impediment removal, foundational Agile coaching, and servant leadership.
• Basic proficiency with Jira and Confluence and familiarity with Microsoft Teams or comparable collaboration tools.
• Must maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the Scaled Agile Framework.
• DoD or federal-contracting experience.
• Familiarity with program-management principles and methodologies.
• Experience supporting international teams or operating under Status of Forces Agreement requirements.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, data engineering, or national-defense project environments.
