Technical Project Manager

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; office or manufacturing environment

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Define and manage project roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, governance, and cross-project dependencies.
• Translate product and technical requirements into execution plans with architects, engineering leaders, developers, and operations teams.
• Identify technical constraints, risks, blockers, and dependencies, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Plan resources, priorities, schedules, and budget expectations across multiple teams.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or traditional project management methods based on project needs.
• Communicate project updates, metrics, risks, and decisions while coordinating vendors and third-party deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, software, infrastructure, or high-technology environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, shared resources, and interdependent deliverables.
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar project planning tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work in an office or manufacturing environment; up to 20% travel may be required.

Nice to have

• PMP, CSM, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
• Hands-on experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, software, systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience working with globally distributed or cross-cultural teams.
