Shipping Coordinator

Location: Rochester, NY, USA

Salary: USD 22–26 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.
• Track shipments and provide customers with delivery updates and tracking information.
• Communicate with carriers and vendors to arrange pickups, resolve delivery issues, and negotiate rates.
• Maintain shipment, inventory, and shipping cost records while organizing supplies and equipment.
• Analyze shipping data and resolve discrepancies, damages, complaints, and delays to improve processes and reduce costs.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with shipping management systems, carrier software platforms, and knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in Rochester, NY, USA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and warehouse management software.
• Experience with international shipping procedures.
