Shipping and Receiving (1st Shift)

Salary: $18.00–$20.20 per hour; mid-shift differential: $1 per hour

What you will do

• Receive, unload, inspect, record, and store materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Pack and ship printed products and customer samples through freight, LTL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, weight and charge information, and related documentation.
• Operate forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment to stage materials and load trucks.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with customers, suppliers, customer service, production, and other departments.
• Support safety, quality, training, departmental projects, documentation, and facility organization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of administrative or operational support experience in shipping or manufacturing operations.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of materials tracking, inventory control, storage and retrieval, reporting systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Strong organization, communication, arithmetic, and coordination skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
