DDP (Dielectric Deposition) Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Icheon-Gwangju, South Korea; on-site customer support required

What you will do

• Provide on-site customer support through equipment installation, system diagnosis, service, and repair.
• Collaborate with customers and R&D teams to develop processes for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and customer product issues and perform root cause analyses.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve technical goals and build trusted relationships.
• Apply process and customer knowledge to analyze problems and develop solutions across deposition, etch, anneal, and implant technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Communication proficiency in English is required.
• Work is based in Icheon-Gwangju, South Korea and includes on-site customer support.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
