Senior Developer Advocate (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada, British Columbia

Salary: $123,000–$180,400 base salary annually for Canada-based roles; offers may exceed this range and may include bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Create sample applications, SDKs, reference code, and implementation examples for hirify.global Platform Services and related APIs.
• Produce tutorials, how-to guides, blog posts, short demos, and other developer-facing content.
• Provide technical support for partners and customers, reproduce integration issues, and coordinate fixes with engineering.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve API design, developer experience, runbooks, and onboarding flows.
• Build reference implementations for Model Context Protocol servers and clients that enable secure access to hirify.global data.
• Use generative AI tools to accelerate prototypes, sample generation, and documentation while maintaining output quality and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering or developer-facing experience across web, cloud, or native development.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and modern web or cloud stacks, with the ability to produce clean, tested sample code.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth2 flows and service accounts.
• Knowledge of secure integration practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Developer advocacy, developer support, or partner-facing engineering experience.
• Experience with hirify.global Platform Services, Forge, Revit, ACC/BIM Automation, or Fusion APIs.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, .NET, Docker, and cloud deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP server/client patterns or agentic AI integration concepts.
