Sales Application Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; periodic visits to the manufacturing facility are required.

Salary: $89,458–$121,031 per year

What you will do

• Prepare sales quotations and accurate project pricing for custom equipment orders.
• Develop product designs and process approved orders through release into manufacturing.
• Gather engineering data, review drawings, analyze designs, and complete layouts and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives and customers and serve as the primary contact for project issues.
• Create accurate buyout component lists, monitor equipment in production, and manage contractual modifications.
• Process change orders while protecting production schedules and planned ship dates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Experience reviewing blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, and teamwork skills.
