Entry-level Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Laconia, NH; Boston, MA; or Portland, ME. Travel up to 5%.

Salary: $78,000–$82,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop building HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system designs.
• Create 3-D Revit models and construction documents for building mechanical systems.
• Coordinate designs with project managers, architects, engineers, designers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Communicate design recommendations through presentations, meetings, email, and phone.
• Perform quality checks, apply project-specific drawing standards, and maintain accurate deliverables.
• Assist engineers and designers and contribute to mechanical department standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have taken or plan to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Desire to obtain a Professional Engineering license; a PE license is expected after the required experience is gained.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, adapt to change, and coordinate project work.
