Power Solution Architect (Electrical Power Distribution)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel is required

What you will do

• Provide technical pre-sales support for nationwide strategic accounts, including business development, proposals, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams.
• Develop scalable, standards-compliant electrical power system architectures focused on performance, reliability, and operational goals.
• Evaluate components, recommend design optimizations, and develop alternative technical solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
• Represent hirify.global at industry events, mentor teams, support training, and influence technical and commercial strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in power system architecture.
• Experience with an electrical power-distribution OEM.
• Expertise in UL and IEEE standards and industry practices.
• Experience with data-center and colocation power distribution, including high-availability distribution architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, commercial collaboration, innovation leadership, and vendor engagement skills.
