Principal Solutions Engineer (Identity Security)

Location: Based in the United Kingdom, London, with occasional travel within EMEA and to the United States; US hours are required when needed.

What you will do

• Own the technical side of strategic EMEA customer accounts, supporting retention, expansion, integrations, product adoption, trials, workshops, RFPs, and technical escalations.
• Act as the technical focal point for US identity and workforce platform partners, leading evaluations, technical deep dives, proofs of concept, and integration engagements.
• Guide developers and architects through API and SDK integrations, product performance, solution design, and complex technical issues.
• Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions, identify product gaps, and support launches of new capabilities with early customers.
• Lead regulatory certification demonstrations, coordinate with regulators when needed, and build tailored demos, presentations, and example integrations.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers globally and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, Product, Engineering, and Applied Research.

Requirements

• Substantial experience as a Pre-sales, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Engineer, including ownership of strategic or enterprise accounts with $1M+ ACV, or equivalent Product Management experience with strong customer interaction.
• Experience supporting technology partners, ISVs, or platform ecosystems through evaluations and integrations.
• Practical experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, or Swift.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, modern integration patterns, and API and SDK integrations.
• Experience mentoring Solutions Engineers and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Fluent English and residence in the UK are required; willingness to work US hours and travel occasionally to the United States is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity verification, identity and access management, CIAM, or fraud prevention.
• Background in financial services, fintech, cybersecurity, regtech, payments, or adjacent industries.
• Knowledge of security principles and data protection regulations.
• Experience with regulatory certifications, technical account management, or post-sales ownership of named accounts.
