Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Johnstown, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $87,360.12–$126,672.19 yearly. Bonus target: up to $7,250 annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and ensure production equipment, machinery, instruments, buildings, and facilities operate safely and reliably.
• Oversee maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, packaging equipment, and related systems.
• Plan, schedule, and approve preventive maintenance activities and documentation.
• Build and manage mechanical and preventive maintenance teams, including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, and employee relations support.
• Manage outside contractors, installations, maintenance projects, materials, parts inventory, and capital equipment justifications.
• Analyze equipment failures and work problems, implement corrective actions, and improve production methods, quality, efficiency, and cycle times.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
• At least four years of experience in the position or a comparable role.
• At least four years of experience managing people or projects.
• Associate's degree in engineering, business administration, or related vocational studies.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

• Six years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Six years of experience in the position.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related vocational studies.
