Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Bolingbrook and Blue Island, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $71,200–$97,193 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly incentive pay.

What you will do

• Supervise approximately six or more hourly maintenance employees across the Bolingbrook and Blue Island locations.
• Plan and assign maintenance work, manage manpower and materials, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, plant improvements, expansions, and maintenance process enhancements.
• Maintain equipment, building infrastructure, plant cleanliness, and 6S standards.
• Enforce maintenance safety programs, training, accident investigations, safety observations, hazard mapping, and NFPA-70E compliance.
• Track maintenance KPIs, prepare reports, and manage hiring, performance, training, timekeeping, absenteeism, and employee relations.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of progressive maintenance experience, including 5–7 years in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce and managing mechanics responsible for production equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and business planning or inventory systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to perform light lifting, stooping, and standing.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5P, or other continuous improvement models.
