Supervisor II, R&M (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Delano, California, USA; onsite facility work required

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, with a possible discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel responsible for mechanical and electrical equipment, facility systems, buildings, grounds, and mobile equipment.
• Define and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, inspections, lubrication schedules, repairs, rebuilds, and component replacements.
• Manage maintenance backlogs, scheduling, budgets, expenses, and coordination with operations throughout the crop year.
• Develop employees through coaching, training, performance feedback, hiring, and onboarding.
• Work with engineering on capital projects, coordinate vendor support, and collaborate across departments.
• Drive continuous improvement, equipment optimization, safety investigations, documentation, and compliance with applicable codes.

Requirements

• At least five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and training skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement, process optimization, 5S implementation, KPI interpretation, and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, manage projects from idea through implementation, build cross-functional relationships, and simplify complex problems.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended shifts of up to 12 hours at the onsite facility.
