What you will do

• Source, purchase, and manage materials required for new product development and introduction.
• Identify, develop, and manage existing and prospective suppliers.
• Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain planned inventory levels.
• Resolve material-related design, accounting, and receiving issues.
• Develop business simplification methods and contribute to ISO documentation for purchasing.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate delivery schedules, negotiate with suppliers, and procure materials, equipment, and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• New Product Introduction experience with sourcing knowledge of raw materials, mechanical subassemblies, electronic assemblies, enclosures, plastics, machining, stamping, CNC, mills, or lathes.
• Understanding of costing concepts, cost reduction, and cost modeling.
• Analytical, problem-solving, process understanding, business acumen, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to manage related tasks and personnel resources and lead small projects.
