Materials Planner II (Semiconductor)

Location: Benicia, California, United States; on-site manufacturing and clean-room work may be required

What you will do

• Maintain Oracle work order release schedules and support on-time material availability for manufacturing and engineering.
• Perform shortage, work order variance, MRP execution, supply-and-demand, and master scheduling analysis.
• Manage inventory planning, segmentation, lead-time accuracy, stock levels, shortages, obsolete inventory, E&O, and RMAs.
• Coordinate cycle counts, inventory audits, inventory transactions between locations, and resolution of WIP and material variance issues.
• Work with engineers, work centers, Finance, production teams, and expediters on special projects, shop-floor control, and material shortage commitments.
• Review engineering change orders and requests, maintain system accuracy, and prepare status reports.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in materials planning or a related discipline.
• Ability to solve straightforward operational problems using technical experience, judgment, and established precedents.
• Ability to analyze inventory usage, supply, demand, shortages, lead times, and production requirements.
• No supervisory responsibilities, but informal guidance to new team members is expected.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight or noisy areas, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
