What you will do
- Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage key supplier and subcontractor relationships, including performance and supply chain risk.
- Lead commercial negotiations to improve value, quality, delivery performance, and cost savings.
- Support inventory optimisation and ensure the availability of materials and services.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, project, operations, and finance stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven procurement leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or another technical industry.
- Strong supplier management, sourcing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing complex supply chains.
- Commercial judgement with a track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
