Senior Procurement Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategy, including tendering, bid analysis, negotiation, and contract award.
• Manage commercial performance through cost planning, supplier performance management, value engineering, valuations, and cost reporting.
• Manage commercial risks, claims, disputes, variations, loss and expense negotiations, and final accounts.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of OFCI packages within the wider project environment.
• Build client and supplier relationships, support business development, and contribute to project meetings and issue resolution.
• Lead and develop team members while promoting governance, best practice, continuous improvement, and safe delivery.

Requirements

• Experience as a cost manager on large-scale construction projects with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Chartered status or active progress toward chartership.
• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and project teams.
