What you will do

• Place orders and manage the timely supply and expediting of raw materials, assemblies, and support services.
• Prepare weekly expedite reports and maintain purchasing and supplier data in the ERP system.
• Analyze ERP exception messages and place cost-effective purchase orders.
• Prepare electronic documentation packs, including drawings, bills of materials, and Gerber files, for custom parts.
• Manage selected suppliers, inventory levels, material flow, and delivery performance.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements while supporting quality, environmental, and health and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• CIPS Level 5 qualification.
• Strong IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to develop a thorough working knowledge of the required ERP system.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, planning, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Experience purchasing electronic or electro-mechanical parts is desirable.
