Associate Claims Examiner (Workers' Compensation)

Location: Henderson, Nevada, United States. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $26.10–$54.36 per hour, with eligibility for the annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Investigate workers’ compensation claims and determine injured workers’ eligibility for benefits.
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits for valid claims.
• Manage claims progression with physicians, nurses, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate recovery efforts.
• Handle claim files according to state statutes, client guidelines, and claims best practices.
• Develop fundamental claims-handling skills in collaboration with the manager.

Requirements

• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• 0–2 years of experience handling insurance or medical claims.
• Must have or be willing to obtain California claims-handling certification.
• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
