Location: Work from home in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area, with regional field travel throughout the same area. The role includes onsite and virtual inspections, occasional overnight travel, catastrophe assignments, and extended or non-standard hours.
Salary: $62,500–$93,500 expected starting range; national range $62,500–$115,500 per year.

What you will do
- Investigate, evaluate, adjust, and resolve moderate to severe material and physical damage claims.
- Determine policy coverage, apply claims best practices, and manage reserves within delegated authority.
- Conduct onsite and virtual inspections, establish repair requirements, and prepare cost estimates for extensive losses.
- Identify fraud and subrogation opportunities in partnership with the Special Investigations Unit and Subrogation.
- Deliver clear, compassionate service to policyholders, claimants, attorneys, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor less experienced claims associates and support training and presentations.
Requirements
- Three to five years of successful customer service and/or claims-handling experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- State licensing where required and completion of applicable claims certification training.
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, policy coverage, legal aspects of claims, repair processes, vendor management, and claims systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to inspect vehicles and structures, work outdoors in all weather, and travel to catastrophe sites.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal communication, leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Nice to have
- Material or physical damage claims experience.
- Related repair industry experience.
- IIA, CPCU, ICAR, ASE, or other technical insurance and industry coursework.
