Client Officer (Banking)

Location: In office at 1180 Broadway, Oakland, California, US 94706

Salary: $22.27–$33.43 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Support the Client Manager in branch operations, client service, internal sales activities, and workflow management.
• Maintain operational procedures, branch certifications, audits, compliance controls, cash handling, and loss-prevention practices.
• Coach, motivate, mentor, and support banking office sales and service colleagues.
• Promote bank products, identify referral and cross-selling opportunities, and recommend suitable solutions to clients.
• Manage new-account activities, including account maintenance, service requests, client profiling, and risk management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of direct sales experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a banking environment.
• At least 2 years of basic computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be in good standing under the SAFE Act and registered or licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, or eligible for registration.
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, products, services, regulatory compliance, and audit procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
