IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hybrid; employees must work in the office at least three days per week in Addison, Texas; Bellevue, Washington; Durham, North Carolina; or Emeryville, California.

Annual base salary: $113,000–$173,000, plus equity awards and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, manage, scale, and maintain hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Drive automation to improve operational efficiency, scalability, consistency, and cost control.
• Architect and implement technology solutions with business, architecture, security, GRC, and engineering teams.
• Maintain secure configurations, documentation, change management processes, monitoring, backups, and high availability.
• Resolve infrastructure incidents, escalations, and operational challenges while supporting enterprise services.
• Participate in infrastructure, security, and business execution projects, on-call rotations, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Operations Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar enterprise infrastructure role.
• Strong systems administration experience with Linux, Windows, VMware or similar virtualization technologies.
• Direct administration experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud and networking environments.
• Experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, TCP/IP networking, troubleshooting, backups, high availability, and infrastructure resiliency.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, enterprise monitoring, SAN storage, and physical or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, GRC, Product Engineering, and other technical teams.

Nice to have

• Azure, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and cloud cost-management experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
