Server Engineer (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Implement, operate, and maintain physical servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and cloud-hosted services.
• Manage infrastructure lifecycles, including deployments, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and decommissioning.
• Support Windows and Linux server environments, enterprise hardware, data center platforms, and virtualization technologies.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and reliability, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Participate in migrations, infrastructure projects, cloud initiatives, technical documentation, and a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, platform engineering, or systems administration.
• Strong experience administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization, server hardware, data center infrastructure, storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure and with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and deliver projects collaboratively.
