Electrical Engineering Intern (Vehicle Systems)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; onsite work across office, field, and production environments.

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support Electrical Engineers with vehicle control and wire harness design and integration.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks under close supervision.
• Select components based on weight, cost, reliability, quality, and manufacturability.
• Process engineering changes and create detailed print documentation.
• Use Windchill 3D modeling software and analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines, business support teams, suppliers, and customers to solve problems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work in office, field, and production environments, including occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise.
• Some positions may require status as a U.S. Person under applicable export-control regulations.
