Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing (Power BI)

Location: Naperville, Illinois, with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday and remote work available Monday and Friday

Salary: $76,230–$111,744 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools assessing supplier, brand, and item-level competitiveness.
• Analyze purchasing, pricing, market, landed-cost, and SPINS data to identify sourcing opportunities, cost savings, and supplier risks.
• Monitor supplier cost changes, pricing trends, category outliers, and historical pricing patterns requiring sourcing action.
• Build Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and executive scorecards covering supplier competitiveness, acquisition costs, savings pipelines, and sourcing performance.
• Support supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies through financial modeling, competitive cost analysis, market intelligence, and opportunity sizing.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership while partnering with sourcing, supplier management, pricing, merchandising, finance, sales, and data teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial, commercial, or operational analytics.
• Proficiency in Power BI, dashboard development, data visualization, reporting frameworks, data modeling, and governance principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, pricing, and cost management concepts.
• Onsite presence in Naperville, Illinois is required Tuesday through Thursday; remote work is available Monday and Friday.
