Material Planning Analyst (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.

Annual salary: $87,330–$97,030, plus potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage high-volume inventories across multiple locations with complex lead times and supply channels.
• Prepare and maintain material commodity plans, demand plans, supply plans, and replenishment analyses.
• Maintain optimal stocking levels while limiting excess materials and recommend material purchases.
• Develop reports, metrics, tracking tools, and spreadsheets to support material decisions.
• Build relationships with internal and external business partners and support problem resolution.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and communicate metrics and initiatives to identify opportunities and guide decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of related experience as a Material or Inventory Planner.
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain concepts, financial principles, benchmarking, and process improvement.
• Ability to recommend stocking strategies, stocking levels, replenishment cycles, and reorder quantities.
• Proficiency in data mining and analysis; Microsoft Office and Excel are mandatory.

Nice to have

• CPIM certification.
• Experience managing multi-SKU, high-volume inventories and multiple locations.
• Power BI experience.
