Workday HCM Payroll Senior Manager

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with in-person work at local hirify.global offices and client sites, including local or out-of-state travel.

Salary: $146,000–$234,000 annually, plus a 14% bonus target; estimated total cash compensation of $166,440–$266,760.

What you will do

• Lead and manage large, complex Workday HCM and Payroll implementation and optimization projects.
• Serve as a Workday solution architect and workstream lead across HCM and Payroll.
• Develop implementation plans, estimates, timelines, costs, future-state designs, and process improvements.
• Lead requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Build client relationships, support proposals and business development, and communicate risks and solutions to executives.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise teams while overseeing project work plans and performance development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a related field or professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, psychology, information technology/MIS, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated functional and systems experience with Workday HCM and Payroll, including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and integrations.
• Experience with Workday configuration, data accuracy, security, compliance, gap analysis, application control reviews, and risk assessments.
• Experience leading teams, conducting performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, and coordinating work across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Workday HCM or Payroll certification is strongly preferred.

• Experience assessing Workday in the context of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Experience establishing senior executive relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.
