Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead 20+ maintenance personnel, assign daily work, manage overtime, and complete department reports.
• Schedule breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment installation and removal to support production and shipping requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, training, and maintenance assistance across the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain and improve the Mainsaver CMMS, work instructions, standard operating procedures, work orders, and maintenance performance goals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance management, production departments, and other stakeholders on repair schedules and plant priorities.
• Provide on-call troubleshooting for non-routine problems and extended downtime, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Welding experience and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical experience with PLCs, PC-based controls, and machine control programs; ability to modify programs when needed.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, manufacturer specifications, blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Ability to lead the maintenance department, communicate professionally across all levels, and work across facility departments.
• Ability to work overtime, perform hands-on maintenance, and lead complex repairs without conventional drawings.
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift and obtain annual certification; ability to work on elevated platforms and lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of maintenance experience involving machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• 10+ years of injection molding and injection molding electrical control troubleshooting experience.
