Manager, Logistics Freight Payment (Logistics)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Home Office 4 days per week

Salary: $73,600–$117,800 annually, with potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Oversee freight payment and reconciliation processes for a logistics operation with more than $200 million in transport spend.
• Support fleet toll and fuel programs by improving efficiency, compliance, and cost control.
• Manage third-party freight payment vendors, strategic projects, and payment programming.
• Partner with Accounting and Strategic Sourcing to maintain accrual accuracy and support carrier sourcing decisions.
• Develop KPI reporting tools and optimize processes such as AutoPay enrollment and automated invoice handling.
• Coach analysts, resolve escalations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of business experience focused on financial operations.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, data analysis, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in supply chain or logistics finance.
• People management and team development experience.
• Accounting, audit, and compliance experience.
• Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft Office, and data analytics tools.
