Senior Fleet & Dispatch Manager (Logistics)

Location: City of Industry, California, USA; onsite fleet and dispatch operations

Annual salary: $80,000–$120,000 plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop and execute fleet and dispatch strategies aligned with business growth.
• Lead dispatch, routing, driver operations, equipment utilization, maintenance, and asset planning.
• Manage fleet KPIs, budgets, operating costs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve cost per mile, fuel efficiency, fleet utilization, productivity, service levels, and profitability.
• Build and manage the transportation team through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Partner with warehouse, operations, finance, and leadership teams and act as the escalation point for major transportation, safety, and fleet issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in fleet management, trucking, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Experience managing transportation teams and fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, DOT/FMCSA compliance, safety, maintenance, and driver qualifications.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, KPIs, and operational performance.
• Demonstrated success improving efficiency and reducing transportation costs.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with fleet management systems, GPS/telematics, TMS, or dispatch software.
