Area Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30–100 associates.
• Communicate policies, maintain compliance, support recognition programs, and take corrective action when needed.
• Own fulfillment-center performance reporting for receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, packing quality, and SLA adherence.
• Support safety, OSHA compliance, building security, and product loss prevention.
• Facilitate troubleshooting and escalation management with internal and external partners.
• Identify root causes, improve standard operating procedures, and prioritize systemic issues with Growth and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing staff of five or more.
• Experience in warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, or logistics management.
• Experience with SQL and creating and running reports; strong computer literacy including Google Sheets or Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, prioritization, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work any permanent shift, including overnights, holidays, and possible weekend hours.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand or walk for 10–12 hours, work in variable noise and temperatures, and access secure mezzanines up to 40 feet where applicable.
