CNC Machinist (Manual Mills/Lathes)

Location: Lutz, Florida, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and plastic machining equipment.
• Receive, verify, load, unload, stage, and track raw materials and completed parts.
• Deburr parts and perform quality-at-the-source checks.
• Confirm production in SAP, record labor estimates, and perform cycle counts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep work areas organized to 5S standards.
• Follow production priorities, safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Basic SAP, Lean Manufacturing, machining setup, and hand-tool knowledge.
• Ability to use imperial and metric measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work overtime; safety-sensitive duties are subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
