Machinist Level 3 - Mill (CNC/Plastics) (CNC machining and plastics manufacturing): Operating and setting up CNC machining centers, manual machines, lathes, and grinders to produce complex thermoplastic and metal components with an accent on G-code editing, production drawings, and precision inspection. Focus on troubleshooting machining programs, running multiple machines, and maintaining quality and repeatability in a 3rd-shift production environment.
Location: Kulpsville, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite, 3rd shift from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers, semi-automatic and manual machines, Prototrak lathes, and grinders.
- Machine complex production parts from thermoplastic and metal materials using customer and company drawings.
- Edit CNC programs, assist with programming, troubleshoot equipment, and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using standard measuring instruments, QMM, OGP, and optical comparators.
- Update setup documentation, inspection sheets, and production data records.
- Maintain equipment and work areas, follow safety and quality procedures, and participate in operational improvement activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least 36 months of machine center experience in a production environment, including NC programming, setup, troubleshooting, and operation.
- Proficiency with G-code and editing CNC programs for mills and lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams, production drawings, work instructions, and company documents.
- U.S. Person status required for ITAR-related work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, wear required personal protective equipment, and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
