CNC Operator (Aerospace)

Crane Aerospace & Electronics develops and manufactures aerospace components and systems.

What you will do

• Operate and troubleshoot NC, CNC, milling, and turning machines.
• Perform minor machine setup activities and adjust operating settings as needed.
• Use micrometers, verniers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify parts against drawings and specifications.
• Read blueprints and Heijunka cards, routing sheets, bills of material, and process documentation to maintain correct machining sequences.
• Inspect components, complete quality and RTY records, and prepare parts for the next operation through blending and cleaning.
• Maintain tools, machines, and work areas under 5S standards and escalate safety or machining issues.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• High school education.
• 0–1 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to sustain moderate physical effort, including lifting, bending, carrying, and twisting, with sustained visual and mental attention to close tolerances.
