Location: Boston, Massachusetts; Flex Persona eligibility is for candidates local to the Boston office

Salary: $140,310–$171,490 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineering teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI agent components, Generative AI integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver AI features.
• Establish code review practices focused on quality, security, and maintainability.
• Resolve complex technical issues and guide production decisions involving performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate tools, libraries, and frameworks and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field; a high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement unless otherwise noted.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• 1+ year of experience developing agentic solutions, with knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and MLOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing AI agents using Retrieval Augmented Generation architectures and fine-tuning techniques.
• Experience managing the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI models in production.
• Strong communication, code review, knowledge-sharing, and technology decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Linux or Unix scripting experience.
• Experience working across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Solution Architect Associate certification, preferably in GCP or AWS.
