Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Studio)

What you will do

• Lead discovery by defining business workflows, users, outcomes, value hypotheses, acceptance criteria, constraints, data readiness, and integration dependencies.
• Translate complex business problems into solution architectures, delivery plans, technical workstreams, milestones, estimates, risks, and release approaches.
• Build or review production components including AI applications, RAG systems, bounded agents, intelligent automation, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Maintain integrated architecture across applications, workflows, data and knowledge pipelines, models, retrieval, agents, identity, access controls, observability, and human review.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, data science, ML, testing, platform, security, compliance, and business teams.
• Establish AI evaluation, governance, CI/CD, monitoring, staged releases, rollback, recovery, incident triage, stabilization, and transition to operations.

Requirements

• Doctorate with at least 1 year, a master's degree with 8–10 years, a bachelor's degree with 10–12 years, or a diploma with 12–14 years of relevant experience in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL, with production experience in software, APIs, services, data flows, evaluation pipelines, or enterprise integrations.
• Experience delivering at least one production AI, ML, software, data, or automation solution with a measurable enterprise outcome.
• Advanced capability in applied AI/ML, GenAI/RAG/agents, full-stack and integration engineering, or AI platform/MLOps, with breadth across the production lifecycle.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud-native services, containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, MLOps/LLMOps, security, governance, and production operations.
• Strong technical leadership, critical thinking, communication, judgment, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced RAG, knowledge graphs, source verification, MCP-style integration, multi-agent workflows, policy enforcement, and adversarial testing.
• Experience with AWS, Bedrock, SageMaker, Databricks, Spark, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, serverless systems, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, modern web applications, API gateways, workflow automation, document or vision capabilities, and human-AI review.
• Life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, GxP, or validated-system experience.
