Cloud Infrastructure Senior Manager

Location: New York City or Washington DC - McLean, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in local offices and client sites, including local or out-of-state travel.

Salary: $146,000–$234,000 per year, plus a 14% bonus target; estimated total cash range of $166,440–$266,760.

What you will do

• Design, build, migrate, secure, and remediate infrastructure, networking, cloud, server, storage, and application environments.
• Partner with client personnel and executives to identify risks, define strategies, and translate business, compliance, continuity, and disaster recovery requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead project delivery, oversee work plans, manage a diverse client portfolio, and supervise, mentor, coach, and develop engagement teams.
• Create technical documentation, dependency maps, architecture overviews, and application rationalization outputs for undocumented or changing environments.
• Support business development through client networking, solution proposals, thought leadership, and identification of new project opportunities.
• Coordinate with third-party hardware, software, and service vendors and integrate IT systems in post-merger and acquisition environments.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in professional services or related fields, with leadership and direct supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, networking, a related field, or equivalent experience delivering technology or consulting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, enterprise networking, cloud platforms, virtualization, storage, backup and replication, endpoint management, and infrastructure tools.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN segmentation, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with administrative scripting, especially PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and with capacity planning, performance analysis, vulnerability management, and log aggregation.
• Excellent written and verbal English and the ability to work in a hybrid model at local offices and client sites in the United States.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or a similar certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Office 365, Exchange, Google Workspace, and enterprise storage platforms.
• Experience designing environments for PCI-DSS, CMMC, NIST 800-53, or other regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methods.
