Sr. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, optimize, support, and automate cloud infrastructure primarily across AWS and Azure, including on-premises and hybrid solutions.
• Build automated provisioning, system hardening, PaaS adoption, load balancer configurations, and firewall policies.
• Own the design and optimization of multiple engineering projects while collaborating with business owners, product teams, application teams, project managers, and infrastructure coordinators.
• Maintain installation and configuration procedures and improve automation across infrastructure operations.
• Drive infrastructure security, compliance, stability, and availability initiatives.
• Provide cross-training, mentoring, technical documentation, and operational support to eliminate knowledge dependencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of systems administration, design, engineering, or equivalent IT experience.
• Design and operations experience in both AWS and Azure environments.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Harness, deployment management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code and scripting experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Group Policy, VMware environments, configuration management, and software deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with network architecture, enterprise monitoring, storage technologies, and SANs.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading design discussions, planning sessions, and triage activities.
• Willingness to participate in off-hours support, on-call rotations, and project release windows.
