Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS/GCP)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and remote flexibility

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Provision and manage AWS, GCP, and SaaS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Build secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud systems using zero-trust, least-privilege, and identity-based access principles.
• Own CI/CD engineering standards, improve delivery reliability and speed, and mentor product engineering teams.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans, manage incident response, participate in on-call rotation, and lead post-mortems.
• Own monitoring, logging, and alerting systems while identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Automate operational work and collaborate with product engineering, security, and AI platform teams on infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE operating production cloud environments at scale.
• Strong multi-cloud experience, with AWS highly preferred and GCP experience beneficial.
• Experience with infrastructure and security policy as code, Terraform, cloud networking, Linux, and command-line tools.
• Strong software development and automation skills, preferably with Python or another high-level language.
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading post-incident reviews, or driving cross-team infrastructure initiatives.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal tools or services that eliminate manual work.
• Experience with AI-assisted DevOps workflows.
