Data Analyst (Consulting Research Analyst)

Location: Hybrid role with three days per week in the Salt Lake City, Utah office; candidates should live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Salary: $62,900–$85,100 expected hiring range; full range $59,000–$97,000, plus a 10% bonus target.

What you will do

• Analyze healthcare programs and initiatives using analytical and statistical methods.
• Extract, cleanse, aggregate, and process data from multiple sources using queries and reports.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, presentations, and summary reports that inform business decisions.
• Apply regulatory policy knowledge and analytical judgment to develop recommendations and action plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal business partners to define challenges, requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Identify root causes and present standard and ad hoc analyses to support business results.

Requirements

• BA or BS in social science, public health, economics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field, with less than three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with analytical and statistical tools such as Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, or Tableau.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, combining, aggregating, and analyzing large and complex datasets.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, including descriptive statistics, forecasting, experimental design, statistical inference, or predictive modeling.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to coordinate projects and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Salt Lake City office three days per week.
