What you will do
- Operate and support an enterprise-scale PaaS across six or more multitenant clusters, including Tier 3 customer and tenant support.
- Evolve platform components and deploy scalable solutions that balance performance, reliability, and cost.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters, control plane components, autoscaling, and container-based workloads.
- Replace manual operational tasks with automated workflows, GitOps pipelines, and self-service tooling.
- Enable smooth tenant onboarding and improve the deployment and operation of workloads.
- Design platform components for auditability, traceability, observability, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance are required.
- The role is performed on site at a customer location in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience managing or administering Kubernetes clusters, including control planes, autoscaling, and workload troubleshooting.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Infrastructure as Code tools; Python or Bash scripting; and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Argo CD.
- Experience with security compliance tools and familiarity with Agile development practices.
Nice to have
- Administration of multitenant OpenShift clusters.
- Experience with Crossplane or similar service-layer abstraction tools.
- Experience in a Scaled Agile Framework organization.
- Familiarity with firewall change requests, security impact determinations, and ServiceNow change workflows.
