DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and operational tooling for reliable development and production environments with an accent on infrastructure automation, observability, and operational excellence. Focus on improving scalability and developer workflows, managing incidents during on-call rotations, and solving complex infrastructure and delivery problems across engineering teams.
Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas, United States; periodic on-call rotation required.

What you will do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation.
- Support the reliability, scalability, and performance of development and production environments.
- Improve developer workflows through automation, tooling, documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to observability through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and incident response.
- Partner with software engineers and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve delivery processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support infrastructure security and cost-conscious resource usage.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering within an enterprise or multi-team environment.
- Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or EKS.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code workflows, such as Terraform, and environment-specific configuration management.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Operational experience with on-call rotations, production incidents, and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps deployment workflows and ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of cost optimization, tagging strategies, rightsizing, and resource usage analysis.
- Exposure to security automation, secrets management, policy enforcement, or vulnerability scanning.
- Experience writing scripts or lightweight tools in Python, Bash, or Go.
