Lead Software Engineer--Test/Full Stack (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Richardson, Texas; candidates must live within close proximity to the hub and work partly in the office. Applicants must already be eligible to work lawfully in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $107,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 14% of base salary.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation software using Python, PySpark, Angular, and Go.
• Apply GenAI, agentic AI, and LLM-based models to build intelligent testing and product solutions.
• Design and optimize AI and cloud workflows, including pipelines, orchestration, and integrations.
• Collaborate with modernization teams to accelerate software development lifecycle delivery.
• Lead small automation teams and collaborate with engineers across the department.
• Improve test strategy, operational workflows, and software delivery practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, Spark, Node, Angular, React, Java J2EE, and Go.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, SQL, IAM, Lambda, SNS, SQS, SES, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of AI/ML techniques, GenAI development, agents, LLM-based models, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, and Dynatrace.
• Strong experience with Terraform Enterprise and infrastructure-as-code automation.
• Experience creating GitLab CI/CD pipelines and using Playwright, Karate, SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, Artillery, or Gatling.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Property and casualty insurance industry experience.
• Experience working in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
