QA Chapter Lead (AI/Data)

Location: Columbus, OH; hybrid

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 USD per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Define QA standards, methodologies, test strategies, quality gates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop manual and automation QA engineers while planning resources and testing schedules.
• Own test plans, cases, test data, coverage, defect management, release readiness, and post-release smoke testing.
• Drive automation framework selection, tooling, test metrics, and CI/CD integration with DevOps.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to clarify requirements, manage quality risks, and support go/no-go decisions.
• Evaluate and implement next-generation QA tools and technologies with QA platform and enablement teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and/or SDET experience with strong test automation and platform development experience.
• More than one year of experience leading, mentoring, and growing QA teams.
• Expertise in testing methodologies and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestRail, CI/CD integration, and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows, including MCPs, agents, agent skills, and AI-driven testing harnesses.
• Experience testing or monitoring data pipelines, ETL, warehouses, reporting platforms, replicated data, and real data stores such as BigTable, MySQL, SingleStore, and Kafka.
• Working SQL knowledge for validating parsing, parameter binding, injection safety, query performance, data correctness, and persistence round-trips.

Nice to have

• Experience leading test framework migrations.
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and security testing tools.
• Affiliate and Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
