1st Shift Coating Process Technician (Electrocoating)

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania; onsite at the Commerce Park location in Lower Nazareth, PA. Full-time, 1st shift, with daily and weekend overtime as business conditions require.

Salary: $30.98 per hour, plus possible shift differentials and overtime pay.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose machinery issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process, safety, efficiency, and capacity improvements.
• Collect and analyze equipment performance data and perform daily chemical analysis of liquid e-coat samples.
• Support Engineering projects and develop, implement, and improve preventive maintenance programs.
• Use the eMaint CMMS to manage work orders, repair history, spare-parts inventories, and maintenance documentation.
• Train Maintenance staff, communicate equipment issues across Operations and Engineering, and follow manufacturing-floor safety procedures.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining automated equipment, including electromechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and industrial controls.
• Understanding of mechanical processing equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, filtration systems, and ovens.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and total productive maintenance strategies for industrial automation.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, safety rules, maintenance manuals, procedures, schedules, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical school education.
• Experience with metal finishing, electrocoating, powder coating, wastewater treatment, ovens, RO water systems, hoists, or rigging.
• Experience with Allen Bradley controls or industrial machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.
